Beaumont House

Beaumont House is situated in the Whitefield Area close to the Metrolink Station and Junction 17 of the M60 Motorway. A local bus route also passes the home. The Home was opened in April 1999 and provides a high level of residential care that will meet the needs of 37 people of retirement age. The Home can accommodate both men and women.

The Home, built in 1902, has 4 spacious and 1 small (quiet) beautifully decorated and comfortable lounges, which is above the new required standards. Three provide a T.V, one is a music room and one is a quiet lounge with library books, some having larger print. These books are changed every six weeks by Bury Library, and a request can be made for different authors. There are also cassettes for the partially sighted to enjoy. We also have an Activity Room.

Two dining areas are available, we offer a choice of menus and a special diet can be discussed before admission.

We have 37 single en-suite rooms, which are decorated to a high standard with fitted carpets, light coloured bedroom furniture and a comfortable chair. New residents are encouraged to bring personal items into their rooms e.g ornaments and furniture. (Please note that all electrical appliances have to be checked by our electrician before use in the home). Each room also has a television aerial, nurse call system, fire system, a locked drawer to keep personal items and a key is available to ensure privacy and independence, which is encouraged. Most have private phone sockets.

The ground floor consists of 17 bedrooms with French windows leading out onto our beautiful garden. We have 20 bedrooms upstairs, which can be reached by our lift, which is situated in the main foyer area. All our rooms meet new required standards.

There is an ornamental garden with a water feature, a paved area for strolling and a seating area. In the summer months we pride ourselves on our hanging baskets, tables and umbrellas. We provide barbecues on warm summer evenings for the enjoyment of our residents, their family and staff.
