Premier Care was purchased in 1997 and was extensively refurbished and
modernised and opened as a registered home for 18 elderly people.
It
is situated off Victoria Avenue, close to local shops. It is convenient
for local bus routes and Junction 19 of the M60 motorway.
The
home provides a high standard of care to meet the needs of 18 people of
retirement age. The home can
accommodate both men and women.

We offer two lounge / dining areas with a varied menu with choices available. We also have a conservatory where you can smoke if you wish to do so. There is a library area with large print books.
A
lift is available.
We
can offer 12 single rooms and 3 double rooms which can be made private with
screens available if required. All
our rooms meet the new required standards .
All rooms have lockable drawers, television points and nurse call
facilities. Smoke detectors are also fitted in each room.
We
can offer 2 assisted bathrooms and 1 unassisted.
We have 2 disabled toilets with aids available to ensure safety and
comfort. We also have toilet facilities downstairs for our independent
residents, and upstairs we have 4 toilets.
A
full laundry service is provided.
The premises have a regularly maintained fire alarm system.

Premier Care offers a small and intimate environment with the emphasis on the
personal touch.
Mrs. Anne Mellish has over 10 years experience in care of the elderly and is trained to NVQ Level 4 and holds the Registered Managers' Award and is responsible for the smooth running of the home.
