On the last Wednesday of each we are holding a Coffee Morning.
Friends and Family are more than welcome to come and enjoy.
After nearly 30 years we said a very sad goodbye to Bernie. The time came for Bernie to put her feet up and enjoy a well deserved rest. Tears and laughter all around as we danced and enjoyed ourselves.
Entertainment provided by Ian Jenkins our regular entertainer here at Bankfield.

Bankfield Staff & Family Party was a huge success.
Plenty of dancing, singing and enjoyment had by everyone.

These ladies certainly gave us an afternoon of fun and laughter.
They never stopped entertaining our residents and as you can see our staff even got involved.
Well Done Ladies you were amazing.

The Melody Boys were excellent and loved by everyone.
Everyone had an amazing time thank you to everyone for there hard work in putting it all together and for the decorations.

We had huge success with prizes being donated for the tombola and lot of people baking cakes to be sold and some for our residents dinners
ALZHEIMER’S WALK SEPTEMBER 2017
September saw a special walk carried out by 6 members of staff & a family member + a relative of a resident
This wasn’t just any walk it was a walk which thousands of people turned out for on a cold muddy day. Whether they was raising money for past loved one’s who suffered with this disease or raising money to help towards research. Bankfield Babes raised a total of £264.00
RUSTY THE DONKEY
A very warm and welcome visit from Rusty the Donkey. Rusty came to meet the residents and staff of Bankfield on 29th June.
Rusty certainly brought some cheer and smiles had all around…….
Alan Thew comes in to Bankfield and conducts a church service once a month for all residents.
Fish, Chips and Peas.
Last Friday of every month fish chips and peas are supplied and delivered from our local chippy.
St Patricks Night was a huge success and cant thank everyone enough for there support.
