Brookdale is situated close to Bury Town Centre. It is convenient for local bus routes and for access to Junction 2 of the M66 motorway.
The main building was erected in 1921 as St. Paul’s Methodist Institute and is a spacious and charming building retaining many period features. The home is divided into two separate units. The home was opened in June 2001. The main house is home for 29 residents and there is a bungalow unit for 23 high dependency residents.

The Bungalow Block
The bungalow area is an extension of the main house yet is totally separate from our residential unit. It has been tastefully decorated to a high standard and furnished to promote a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
The unit offers Two Lounges with Television and Video, Two Dining Rooms and One Activity Room. It also provides 4 disabled toilets , Two disabled bathrooms and One shower room.
The unit has a choice of single bedrooms all of which are on the ground floor and meet the new required standards.
Mrs Diane Mahon is our Manager who is trained to N.V.Q level 4 and holds the Registered Managers Award. Diane has over 20 years experience in working with the elderly.
