We are committed to running the home in the best interests of the residents. The home has been established with a quality-orientated approach to the business with a high degree of quality awareness developed through all levels of staff training and management. To this end a pro-active approach is taken to introduce quality systems that incorporate audits and feedback so that every part of the home and its services can be evaluated to ensure improvements are continuous.
The Care Quality Commission (CQC), regulates and inspects all adult social care service in the public, private and voluntary sectors in England.
The most recent CQC Report on the home dated 18th June 2019 rated the standard of care provided in Bankfield as Good (please see the link below)
We are delighted that the training, hard work and dedication of our manager and all of our staff has been rewarded with this accolade. We will not however rest on our laurels and will continue constantly to seek further improvements in the care which we provide.
Here is an overview of our standards from the NHS choices website.
Bury Social Services Reports
Earlier this year Bury Social Services carried out a review of the service provided by Bankfield and have rated the levels of quality provision as A RATED. We fully comply with the 16 core outcomes. We were delighted that our efforts to continually improve the quality of care at Bankfield have been recognised after all the hard work from our staff.
Providing quality care and service is our aim at all times, but of course, we need to be sure that we are consistently meeting the needs of our residents by using our standard customer satisfaction questionnaire involving residents, families and professionals.
This questionnaire provides a valuable insight into the way that we operate and we have taken action to follow up a number of the suggestions made.
The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and set out below is a selection of the comments made by our Professional Visitors, Residents and Families:
